The mind of a working parent

Ok, so Lucas has swim on Tuesday so I have to remember to pack his swim stuff. I hope he brings back his goggles - he always loses those things. And that's expensive.

When does Liam have swim again? Ok, he has splash day in school, I have to remember to pack his stuff- he hates it when he is the only one who does not have his stuff. Oh yes, and he needs a towel, but Lucas doesn't.

Let me see, so G has a dinner with a colleague this Wednesday, so I am in charge - ok, I think book club is the following Wednesday, so I am ok. I will send G an invitation to his work email, so he knows not to schedule anything at that time.

I have to put Liam's annual checkup on the calendar and the sitter will have to take them to the dentist. She can do that after school next week. I have to remind her about that.

Friday Liam has camp day, we have to get out the sleeping bag so he can take it to school, ok I'll put a note on the table so I don't forget.

When is my cancer support group meetings? I wonder if I replied? I'll just reply again, actually I'd better put it on my work calendar so I don't schedule any meetings (or get scheduled to be in any) at that time. Better put "Out of Office" so nobody tries to schedule me anyway.

Liam said he wanted to eat pineapple, I will stop by after work and get some - I hope I have time.

Hmmm Liam was coughing this morning, I hope he isn't coming down with something  - I should check my work schedule just in case I have to get him from school or I have to work from home. I wonder how busy G is this week?

Can't forget my phone in case I get a call from the daycare.

What?? Today? I have something due for a client today? Ok, I'm on it, I'll get it done right away.

Salina you are an awesome Project Manager and from this post I can see that you are an even better wife and mother!! Keep it up. I still don't know how you keep it all together. I can barely handle the last sentence with client go-lives.
