This is my post for Blog Action Day . I'm not sure you can generalize this to all men and women, though. In our house, Neil's bookshelf has books on art therapy and Irish poetry (among other things) and mine has quite a few economic treatises. But it's true that I read more novels than Neil does, and our son prefers non-fiction, whereas our daughter reads more fiction. So maybe we do fit your theory...
